I’ve always loved public radio and have worked with great editors that taught me how to be audibly visual. The following are some of the business and culture stories that I’ve produced for several NPR and BBC World Service shows. I particularly enjoyed working on Design for the Real World because it is very much like editorial illustration. You have to create a soundscape that helps to explain what the expert is talking about. I’ve since gone on to do field mixing and recording for documentaries and continue to use all of the advice that my editors have given me.
